It is one of ancient temple of god Siva. This temple is located in karimangalam town. Karimangalam is a small town which is popular due to its religious significance. Covering an area of around three sq. km of the Dharmapuri district, Karimangalam is surrounded by the towns of Dharmapuri, Pappireddipatti and Palacode.
An ancient temple of Aruneeswarar is a prime attraction of the destination. Besides the temple, other noteworthy sightseeing attractions of the destination include the Krishnagiri Dam and the Government Museum.
